Kenya Thompson is an exhibiting artist and graduate of Mississippi State University.

Born in Illinois with the opportunity to hone her creative skills, she chose to take the steps to become an artist.

In her case, university was the first step. Thompson's next obstacle was entrepreneurship; she is now exhibiting her first solo art show.

The journey that Kenya is on is one of self-love and curiosity. For Kenya art is an exploration and documentation of life.
