I did not get the residency.
Honest feelings? Relief.
I developed a new strategy for coping with the highs and lows of life through applying for this residency. By creating an application and devoting my time, energy, and support system to honing in a version of me that can complete a residency, I learned that I am already that person.
Kenya is someone who has endured.
Kenya is someone who can achieve.
Kenya is someone who is deserving of love, compassion, and success in every way; and while I did not achieve the residency in a literal sense, I did go through a large period of growth in the transitioning stage of applying.
I love me lol and it's finally time to bask in it.
